This article mainly introduces the method of quickly setting account passwords using commands in Windows. Instead of using conventional computer management tools to manage user passwords, this method utilizes commands to access the account management dialog. Those in need can refer to this article.

Many users know how to set a startup password on their computers. However, if the login password is forgotten during computer usage, it can cause trouble. So, what should we do if we forget the startup password? Below, I will share the method to cancel the startup password in the XP system.

1. First, click the Start button on the system desktop, then click the Run option. In the pop-up window, enter the command "control userpasswords2" and press Enter, as shown in the figure below:

2. In the pop-up dialog box, select the login username, then uncheck the box in front of "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer," as shown in the figure below:

3. After completing the above steps, click the Apply button below to bring up the automatic login dialog. Enter the password twice in the dialog, then click the OK button, as shown in the figure below:
